How does BrightPath Prep’s pricing model work for contributors?

At BrightPathPrep.com, we believe in accessibility, empowerment, and shared growth. That’s why we’ve designed a pricing model that supports professionals like you who are passionate about helping children thrive.

We believe in rewarding professionals fairly for their expertise and creativity while ensuring the platform has the resources to grow, market, and support your work effectively. Our commission structure is designed to be competitive, sustainable, and growth-focused.

No Upfront Fees

There are no costs to join, list, or publish your resources. We want to remove the financial barriers that often prevent professionals from sharing their valuable knowledge.

🎉 Founding Contributor Rate – 80/20 Split

To thank our early contributors, we offer a limited-time opportunity to join as a Founding Contributor, where you’ll earn:

80% of the sales from your courses, toolkits, e-books, and other digital products
BrightPath Prep retains just 20% to cover platform costs and growth investments

✅ As a Founding Contributor, this 80/20 rate is locked in for life, even if commission structures evolve for new contributors in the future.

Standard Contributor Rate – 75/25 Split

After our Founding Contributor phase ends, new contributors will earn:

• 75% of each sale
  
• BrightPath Prep retains 25% to support marketing, operations, customer service, and continual platform enhancements
  

This rate is still well above industry standards, ensuring you keep the majority of your earnings while benefiting from a growing, supported platform.

When someone purchases your course, e-book, webinar, or digital resource, you keep 80% of the earnings. Just 20% of the product price goes to BrightPathPrep.com. This supports:

• Website maintenance and development
• Platform upgrades
• Marketing and promotion of your products
• Customer service and user support
• Continued outreach to schools and professionals
• Scaling outreach and improving tools for creators
  
  

Licensing Options: Personal Use vs. Resell Use

BrightPathPrep.com gives contributors the flexibility to offer two separate licenses for their products:

1. Personal Use License
   

   • Intended for direct use by individual educators, parents, or professionals.
     

   • Priced affordably to encourage broad access.
     

   • Example: Course access for personal use – $199
     
     

2. Resell or Commercial Use License
   

   • Allows the buyer to use, modify, or incorporate your content into materials they resell or distribute commercially (e.g., in workshops, as part of a curriculum, or on another platform).
     

   • Priced higher to reflect the extended value and rights.
     

   • Example: Course with resale rights – $599

📝 Note: When uploading your product, you’ll be asked whether you want to offer both licensing options and to set pricing accordingly.

🚀 Performance-Based Tier (Coming Soon!)

As the platform grows, we’re exploring ways to reward top-performing creators with higher earnings based on sales milestones. For example:

• $0–$999 in sales → 75/25
  
• $1,000+ in total sales → 80/20
  
• $5,000+ in total sales → 85/15
